WE TRAVEL AROUND THAILAND #8

This highly sacred statue of the seated Buddha is 66 cm high and is decorated with three sets of golden seasonal decorations: two were made by Rama I, one for summer and one for the rainy season, and the third for Rama III. For winter or cold seasons. It was discovered in 1434. Until 1552, the statue remained in the Chiang Mai area. For the next 214 years, it was hidden from the conquerors of Siam in Lao's largest city, Vientiane, and was transported to its current location with great pomp and splendor on March 22, 1784, where it remains to this day. Do you know the current location and name of the current shelter?
